S/o rested on their bed as they tapped their finger against their thigh. It was bring alright, just the fact that they have to stay in the infirmary for a couple of days because of a mission they just went on.

Turns out they got ambushed and now, s/o is stuck sleeping in a plain room due to lack of oxygen, sprained wrist, and a broken ankle.

S/o’s attention went on towards the door to see who just walked in and soon tensed to see who it was.

“My apologies on the mission that you were on, I should’ve thought more into it and know that there would be an ambush. Especially on one of our best people,” Soldier snickered as he took off his visor, taking a seat next to the bed.

“I-it’s okay, I mean– don’t worry about it, I’m sure we would’ve got ambushed either way if we knew or if we didn’t,” S/o explained with a nervous smile.

Their face heated up more of the heart monitor started beeping much faster ever since Soldier walked if, pretty sure Soldier himself knew about it by now.

Soldier had a smug look to know what’s exactly going on, a smile on his lips. “So then, want to explain something to me?”

“Whenever you get out, I’ll see you at eight,” Soldier said as he soon stood from his seat, taking his leave with a grin.
