I’m lucky enough to live in a country where, although there are problems, the worst you’ll get when you say you’re an atheist is an eye roll. 

For people in some parts of the world (mostly in Muslim-majority countries), such an admission involves a risk of debilitating social ostracism and sometimes even execution by the government

This day is as good as any to register support for those people. 

Usually this is on April 1. I don’t know what happened this year. Maybe there’s more than one?
