Introducing Issue 3 Writer, Orchids!
I crunch numbers and nonsense by day, and writing keeps me sane. I’m fond of playing with the medium, flirting with darker themes, and pulling scenes from canon only to stretch, squeeze, and twist them every which way, until they’re only just recognizable.
Also, I write scene drafts on paper napkins and the backs of receipts, because inspiration strikes at the strangest of times.With words that can cut deep like winter frost in one moment, and paint stunning sceneries in the very next, @orchids-and-fictional-cities is sure to take you on a ride of a thousand and one emotions with her fandom classic But Monsters Are Always Hungry, Darling — but the same applies to any of the worlds she creates, be it one where gods walk the earth, or one where demons torment priests into sin. Orchids can evoke every emotion available in the human gamut with just a couple of wordstrokes, and make you lose nights of sleep revisiting every sentence, every turn of phrase and imagery that she creates at will. Because one you walk into her domains, there’s no going back.
