Two souls share a heart (and one brain cell)…
Thought I’d post these 2 drawings together - the top was my first Bleach fanart when I started watching back in April, the second was when I finished the anime in July, and I intend to complete the manga in anticipation for the final season next year for sure (perhaps resulting in a 3rd redraw, timeskip version? haha).
I love Ichigo & Rukia’s friendship dearly; they’re the kind of dynamic that works well whether you want to read it as purely platonic or something more. Watching them grow as people and soul reapers and friends is so satisfying. They remind me to cherish the people who make my everyday life a little more enjoyable and live each day to the fullest. Cheesy I know, but that’s the power of shounen!
