What is Sports et al?
Our Discord sever is a place for people who love sports and athletes to talk about their favorite teams, players, and competitions. The server is RPF-friendly, meaning that there are sections dedicated to shipping and fannish creations. If you’re not a fan of RPF, that’s okay too! We do our best to keep the RPF content in its own section.
What can I find on your server?
Enthusiasm, fun, sportsmanship, spirited discussion, game day reactions, thirst bait, chatfic, rarepairs, shared AUs, gifs, articles, and more! No matter what team you love, you’re welcome.
Why is the server 18+?
Sports et al is considered an NSFW server and an adult space. General chat is SFW, but anything goes in the other channels, though typically actual nudity is kept to the #nsfw channel.
Is this a hockey server?
The majority of our server members are hockey fans, but we have discussion channels for all major North American pro sports as well as figure skating and tennis, and there are people happy to discuss baseball, basketball, American football, actual football, and anything else you can name. We would love to have some more members who want to discuss sports that aren’t hockey!
