The clinic was recording too many cases of hygiene-related diseases. Together with two friends—a headteacher and a pastor, we decided to raise awareness in the community. We were also able to raise some funds to put up this toilet that serves about 36 compounds.

In the Sirigu community, this is how we paint our buildings and we wanted the toilet to look beautiful. We started building a fence too but we run out of funds. - Gideon Ndolba, teacher.
