I had an illustration in The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine at the weekend.

The article was about the very non sexy subject of poop analysis and making sure you take care of your gut flora. It definitely called for focus on the flora! 

The brief was to create a “silhouette of a woman with flora spreading out from her middle” but to essentially make an attractive illustration to brighten up a tricky subject. 

I looked at herbs and flowers that naturally aid digestion, turmeric, garlic, ginger, green tea etc. for the final, approved roughs but thought it would be good to show the other ideas explored during the art direction.
