Let’s talk about comfort zones … one of my biggest problems is I tend to say “yes, I can do it” … then worry about if I can do it as I go. I honestly feel that if what you’re doing doest scare you a little bit… if you don’t say “what the hell am I doing?” “Fuck!!” A few times as you go.. are you really learning? Makes it really interesting for me cause most of these are painted live in front of people so I have to look like I know what I’m doing. Improvise on the fly.. I’ve messed up countless pieces … countless projects.. it’s just paint… you can always paint over it and start again. Just please, don’t give up. It won’t always be easy… it’s the hard that makes this dream great.
