so i wrote this super long post about how i totally loved the @bemadisonchill performance and everything about it but then i accidentally deleted EVERYTHING so a summary
literally everyone was perfect for their roles. the cast i met out in the lobby were some of the literal nicest people i’ve ever met and my queer heart sang for all of them tbh. I’m really glad I came out to this show!
some things im gonna mention:
-jeremy and michael dabbed in unison. during more than survive. b y e
-christine was literally the cutest oml and when she took out the stepstool to be as tall as jeremy i cried
-squip song was awesome! its kinda hard to belt that one for sure and they did a great job
-everything about two player game. everything
-“what the fuck” instead of “jesus christ” in be more chill pt. 1 which totally threw me off guard but i loved
-jeremy flinched when the squip told him how terrible he was :( but jere seemed nervous like a teen boy throughout the show which really made me happy
-FEMALE SQUIP. AND SHES A FRESHMAN IN HIGH SCHOOL???
-brooke and chloe killed do you wanna ride i’m so-
-the interaction between chloe and christine got me legit upset (especially finding out from chloe later in the lobby that they’re best friends irl?? oh my god)
-guy i’d kinda be into was killer holy fuck
-UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE the entire thing was pure bliss
-“I already know what it’s like to be the loser” he pointed at Michael and i hurt
-HALLOWEEN SKDJF the drink-off between jake and jeremy was beautiful and then they did the worm. brb.
-jEREMY WAS SO GOOD AT ACTING CLUELESS BEFORE DO YOU WANNA HANG AND HIS AGGRESSIVE HEAD SHAKING HAD ME ROLLING
-MICHAEL!! IN THE BATHROOM!! HE KILLED IT. never heard a better rendition of MITB before it was SO good (besides the O.G. of course)
-DO YOU HAVE ANY MOUNTAIN DEW RED? *CHECKS THE ALCOHOL TABLE 4 TIMES AND LOOKS INSIDE BOTTLES LIKE THERES GONNA BE A SOFT DRINK FROM THE 90S IN A RUM CHATA BOTTLE*
-the smartphone hour was so good. everyone killed it
-PITUFUL CHILDREN. i loved it sm and the choreography was so good i swear
-when jeremy called his dad a loser my heart dropped through the center of the earth
-PANTS SONG OH MY GOD THE HARMONIES WERE SO GOOD
-Mr. Heere “do you love him?” Michael: “uh, what?”
-all of the play was great, especially Jake’s upgrade reprise MMM
-HOW DOES MICHAEL JUMP THAT HIGH?? WHAT THE HELL
-“Jeeeereemy, I love youu” Michael looked so sad in the corner my heart sobbed
-Michael booking it out when everyone screamed was a mood
-the squip just taking off her shoes and getting off the platform all defeated, love
-the entirety of the hospital scene, rich’s bi cast made everyone cheer oh my god
-Michael started to wheel Rich off and then just pushed him and let him roll offstage
-MR. HEERE WALKING IN WEARING LEATHER PANTS I CRIED
-voices in my head was hella cute and i liked how the squip limped in all disheveled for her part in the song
-MICHAEL AND MR. HEERE RAN ON AFTER CHRISTINE AGREED TO GO OUT WITH JEREMY AND MR. HEERE PICKED CHRISTINE UP AND KINDA CARRIED HER ON HIS SHOULDER I THINK BUT MICHAEL PICKED JEREMY UP BRIDAL STYLE-
