Introducing: The System. As a carrier dove. The system regularly delivers quests and updates by form of bird mail. SQQ got fed up with it at one point and tried locking it in a cage, but that led to updates being delivered by:

1. Rock through window
2. A shady passersby
3. Random mail suddenly being slipped under the door.

SQH is also a victim of the bird system’s bullying and can regularly be seen fleeing from white birds. The letters all burn up almost immediately after being read.

By the end of the events of the story (which we will assume is a happy ending), the system is suddenly quiet. It stays in the cage, and no longer delivers any messages or updates.

Until one day, many years later, the bird dies. And SQQ FREAKS OUT.

He invites SQH over, and SQH is just “bro… DID YOU KILL IT??”

They’re both freaking out. Does this mean there is no longer anything left to do? Does it mean they’ll be sent back home soon? What does it mean???

That is until SQQ gets a visitor one day. A veiled lady who claims to be a long time friend of his. He permits her to enter and LBH is full of vinegar.

When alone she explains to him that she is the system and this is her other form. She also tells him the story of how it began.

About being rescued by young kind boy who wished to be loved. In the end, he got his wish and was loved by all, but he was never truly happy.

So on his deathbed he had one regret. Rather than to be loved, he wished to have lived for someone worth loving, no matter the hardship.

The one who made the wish was probably another version, and this happened to be the version who got the other’s dream fulfilled.

I keep thinking of post ending stuff or details about the events in the middle a;kldj Just gotta… sit myself down and finally decide on a proper ending.
