This is my favorite use of CGI in a series which has used graphics pretty creatively. (I’m about 90% sure it is CGI and not, in fact, providential set location arrangement.)

It’s like the insertion of the voice of that friend everyone has who diffuses tense or awkward situations with appropriately light humor. The one who you giggles and jokes their way through reruns of your favorite melodramas but who secretly balls their eyes out when they watch them at home alone.
