Happy birthday to Beth Lily @bethanylilyapril a model who was poised to rule the British newsstands like a Lucy Pinder, a Keely Hazell, a Kelly Brook. But it all fell off a cliff—Beth Lily had the distinction of being on the cover of Zoo’s celebratory 600th issue and just two months later in the “Ashes to Ashes, Bust to Bust” final photo shoot. (Swipe thru to see both.) And yet she flourishes, 7 years after that final Zoo issue she’s got 4.3 million followers here and she jets around the world doing her glamorous shoots. Good for her, and for the models, cover girls, centerfolds and Page 3 Girls of her generation who managed to write a new script when print media so suddenly and completely failed them.
