old vs new… i think im improving?

first one is from april, about 4 months after i started drawing. 2nd is from now. obviously still a huge WIP though lots of things r gonna change!! need to do her other eye and to the armor (its not very nord like i know but im gonna give her a big fluffy cape… just imagine she got it from ummmmmmmmmmmmmm idk high rock as a gift. hopefully im gonna put all nice swirly patterns on it and make it more medieval french inspired!!) also that crown is supposed to be the crown of freydis but i cba to find my reference pic so its probably way wrong (too small)

oh yeah: this is mabjaarn flame-hair - high queen of western skyrim just before the events of eso (i think she got killed by akaviri) u may know her as the queen who was outdrank by ayrenn!!
