Hey guys! Long time no see :D It’s been about two months since I posted an update on my blog, and people are starting to wonder where I went. So I thought I’d post an update.

I absolutely did not go anywhere. In fact, I’ve been working on transitioning into Maya from Daz Studio, because obviously animation is still a goal. And I’ve actually come quite a long way! I have a fully rigged and textured character that I will soon be adding hair and genital functionality to, meaning she’ll be good to go.

The idea is to make something about selfsucking, which would be an easy way for me to get started. But we’ll see. I might do other things. Also, no ETA at all, I’m just working on getting the basics right.

Meanwhile I’ve also been playing around with clothing dynamics in Daz Studio, and for laughs I gave Mari a different haircut. Look at her! Doesn’t she look great? I’m thinking about releasing a set with her rocking this look, but at the same time I’ve given her so many starring roles already that I think I should do someone else. 

Yelena perhaps? I’ll be honest, I kinda want to give her a redesign. Her current hairstyle is one of the main reasons I haven’t done very much with her, but given that I’ll be giving her a custom groom in Maya when I transport her over, you guys might not see Yelena again until I’m animating. The reason for that is that I know exactly how I want her look, and that look just isn’t available from asset stores right now.

Anyway, that’s my update. I might have some other renders to post soon, who knows. Either way, it’s the calm before the storm. Stay tuned!
