“I AM SO READY FOR THIS!”

The above statement is an absolute lie. Tonight is the last night I’ll be sleeping in my own bedroom. Starting from tomorrow, I’ll have to share a room with someone. For two years. Three and half hours away from home.

I am thisclose to breaking down. Perhaps it is the fear of the unknown.

I took too long to move out. Even in college, I stayed at home instead of staying in dorms. At my age, people move out because they are getting married. Me? I’m moving out to become a teacher in a palm estate/ paddy field.

Being honest, this is my first foray towards independence. 

Terrified, absolutely terrified.

And I haven’t even thought about the lesson plans.
