POLY MORPHOUS COMICS MEGAPOST
The various misadventures of the squishy slime mold creature Poly Morphous! I first started telling queer fairy tales about her in ‘14, and they transformed into sorta sad, sorta funny stream-of-consciousness stories about isolation, anxiety, depression, and generally Going Through It. Below are all the comics I’ve made about her, organized neatly with descriptions for your reading pleasure:
Poly Morphous is back, and she’s got too many emotions to fit in her chubby lil body! A story about anxiety and the fear/desire for companionship, printed in delicious tart blueberry flavors. Debuted at the first RIPE ‘14 in RI.
It’s a drizzly sad kind of day and all Poly Morphous wants to do is nap, but that’s a bigger challenge than she expects. Debuted at SPX ‘14 (ML) as a minty lavender mini. Snzzz…
A 2nd floaty collection of short comics and art - 20 pages of Poly’s thoughts on self-hate, mental illness, and and learning to take care of yourself. Equal parts silly and sad, an invitation to feel frustrations and accept your limits. Debuted at RIPE ‘16, and includes Freeze Up, Un/Focus, and I Miss Being Comfortable.
It’s hard being a person sometimes, and Poly Morphous is just not having it today! Sometimes you just have to have a complete meltdown and lay on the floor and wail, you know? A scrabbly scribbly comic about grappling with the pain of self-hate. Debuted at MICE ‘16 (MA).
