Thierry la Fronde S03E07 - Les Tuchins part 1 of 4

Our hero Thierry (Jean-Claude Drouot) has been captured by the bad guys who suspend him with rope over a fire and then put a flaming stick against the rope so that he’ll fall into the fire.

Thierry manages to swing himself to safety just as the rope burns through. He then uses the flames to burn the ropes securing his wrists, which looks quite painful.
