It was 95 degrees today.

I cannot begin to express how miserable this makes me. Although I guess at least the horse paddocks are finally not-mud because of the intense heat but Quattro is still shedding and all three horses were waiting at the gate to be let in early from the pasture because they were apparently just Done.

And Quattro was very cranky about working.

But he worked good. Cantered a little. Did one singular baby jump after fighting with me for ten minutes. Got covered in sweat and thus got his first hosedown of the year.

I sweat so much just being outside so I am not at all looking forwards to this weekend’s double-muck.
