thanks noelle but maybe put more canon trans characters in your show next time
Just thought I’d leave this here.
Being hyper critical of a show that is doing its best for minority representation does nothing to help that they did try. They are paving the way for the next cartoon / or any media in general. Please pass on the message as you see fit.

I don’t know when the original post was made, but Noelle did come out as nonbinary at least one month after those tweets, and they’ve also talked about how they based Double Trouble heavily on how they perceived their own gender and their own relationship with it.
hey, it’s me, the trans woman who made that comment. i want to come back and address some stuff about this post and why it still troubles me. please engage with this in good faith. i love she-ra with my whole heart, and i’m a fan of noelle and their other work as well. the original comment was made before he came out. i’m going to put all of this under a cut so as not to clog the dash.
