As yet another year nears its end I once again reflect on the last 365 days of doing what I love more than anything in this life.

Quite often people ask me ‘What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?’ my answer is always the same: ‘I love how the lens allows me to meet people from all continents and helps me to make sense of the world around me. 

My camera gives me both an invisibility cloak as well as a license for me to approach my fellow citizens. ‘I’m a photographer’ is literally an open-sesame to places and people’s lives that I get to be part of - even if it’s just for the duration of a few CLICKS…
