This is the deepest (and I think the best) view ever obtained of a prominent galaxy Centaurus A.
The image was made as a collaboration between NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory Center and hobby astrophotographer Rolf Wahl Olsen. As a result, their combined exposure time is in excess of an astonishing 350 hours, or two weeks.
