when i was 9, i carried around my ivy American Girl doll everywhere. i was obsessed with ivy and jess because they shared my chinese & japanese heritage. i didn’t think there was anything cooler than when i got to be an AG model and saw my posters up at the Grove. kai thought it was pretty cool too. it turns out (for both of us) there was one more thing that’s even just a little bit cooler. to continue representing strong AAPI female role models is such an honor and i’m so excited to work alongside my real life sister. as always, thank you to our awesome team!
