7E Guest Artist - Jeongmoon Choi

Working primarily with thread as a medium, Jeongmoon Choi is a Korean born artist currently residing in Berlin. She lights her installations with blacklight, giving the intricate thread patterns the appearance of static lasers or beams of light. Jeongmoon also uses thread as a primary medium in framed work substituting it for what more often would be ink or lithography. All of her works are beautifully geometric.
