Base Model was a Samus Amiibo, Green Stuff, and Citadel paint

I had previously worked on this amiibo and tried to turn it into an EVA-01 unit but sadly failed. Having a resurge for a muse I tackled it again.

The cluster-like arm was derived from an theory that Homeworld was using the fragmented gems as a means to recreate limbs for gems that for whatever reason failed to assume a fully functional body. Since the glyphs in the one ruin depict Yellow Diamond with no arms, perhaps she was trying to find means to regain her lost limbs.

Drawing inspiration too from Resident Evil (particularly the Ouroboros and how it can either accept or reject its host) I used the arm cannon to my advantage and created a “failed” limb graft that while it would appear to be functional for awhile, would eventually reject its grafted host- however to some extent the host could still control it.

Either way I’m extremely happy with how this turned out.
