In Golden Gate Park, near the Conservatory of Flowers, is located the Dahlia Garden. I did not know this until I checked it out in the Golden Gate Park website, but the Dahlia is the official flower of San Francisco. Seems strange, since this is the first time I’ve seen one of these amazing flowers blooming in the city. I think the ones in this photo are know as the Dahlia Andries’ Orange.
