Semi-candid shot from Animethon 20. Composition is not very strong but it’s one of my favorite walkaround shots from the con. For those who don’t know, the character is Kyouko from Madoka Magica, and she is heavily associated with food. Which is what makes this shot special.

Semi-candid as the cosplayer was aware of and consenting to this shot. I caught her in the act of buying a hot dog and got her to hold position.

If anyone knows who she is, I’d like to credit her. So message me!

(for any street photographers considering hitting an anime convention, it’s considered rude to take a picture of a cosplayer without consent as harassment is a problem, so please ask)
