The Jin Dynasty (AD 266 ~ AD 420) was a dynasty in Chinese history. The Jin Dynasty took over The Three Kingdoms and opened the Northern and southern Dynasties.

The Jin dynasty was divided into two periods, the Western Jin (266 ~ 316 AD) and the Eastern Jin (317 ~ 420 AD). The Western Jin dynasty is a unified dynasty in Chinese history, and the Eastern Jin is one of the six dynasties. The Jin dynasty inherited a total of 15 emperors for 155 years.
