Fellow alien, who taught us all that being weird and different and *alien* is OK. Going to be so, so missed. It’s one thing to understand, intellectually, that we all die. It’s another entirely to face it head on, even of a distant one (who touched our lives profoundly, non-the-less). His music felt like a hug at the worst times and picked me up and swung me around. It was always there for me since I was a child. To be born into a world where David Bowie exists and to find out that the world doesn’t get to keep him… Never did anyone else’s music speak to my existentialist alien side like his did. I honestly can’t think of anyone more universally loved. RIP fellow alien. Our hearts are broken for you and your family. ✨
