Happy Mother’s Day to this amazing woman.

I am honored to be her partner.

She is the model I look to for patience, kindness and empathy as we raise our son together.

Her steadfast patience and perseverance in a household full of emotional lunatics is indomitable and a superpower in its own right.

I forever work to be worthy of her love, and am quite aware of my shortcomings, but she is worth trying to always improve for, even (especially) when I can’t see it for myself.

She deserves more than I’ve given, even as she continuously gives more to everyone around her. I sure as hell don’t make it easy.

She is forever love, and warmth and strong, in ways I can never be.

I am grateful to be in her life and feel proud, lucky and blessed that she is the mother to our son. His life (and mine) will be infinitely better because she is his mom.
