So the last time we were in Samburu with @onetouchlive, we met Juliana Nagusii Lolomu who is one of the women of Umoja village. The interesting thing is that Umoja village is a women only village. It was started as a refuge from women who are battered by their husbands. They got fed up and decided to live apart from men. Now the village has 48 women. Most live there with their kids.
