On our second day in Fukuoka we went and discovered the city a bit. Had amazing lunch-Shabu Shabu and enjoyed the big lake near Fukuoka Castle’s ruins. The city also offered lots of opportunities for shopping and a very charming bar/night club district. I really wish we’d had a bit more time there.

Instead, we travelled to Kagoshima on Friday. This city is most known for Mt. Sakurajima, an active volcano, which we’ll visit today :)
