Happy Fourth of July!

I attended the changing of the flag ceremony at Lafayette’s tomb in Picpus with the American Friends of Lafayette, who are lovely, lovely people. It was a beautiful ceremony!

Somebody liked this old post (thanks!) and it reminded me…I’m  excited to welcome American Friends of Lafayette to a special tour of the museum where I work (I got a new job last month!) after lunch on Jan 31! If you’re in NYC consider becoming an AFL! :)
