My biggest #mixedraceproblem is not looking “Mexican” enough for brown spaces, and not being white enough for white spaces. For the last few years I’ve battled with my appearance, and my jealousy for my sister who does “look the part”. I think people ignore the fact that genetics play out in mysterious ways and there isn’t one way to look as a #mixed race person. I’ve been on a mission for 8 years now to reclaim the indigenous ways of life of both my ancestors, and that’s been a crucial part of my healing journey. I’m proud to come from two strong lineages of Earth Worshipping Warrior cultures, and to carry the unique blueprint of my Spirit into the world. Ometeotl”
