When your friend asks you to do a reading of her love-life

@copperbadge , I need to ask… did your annual reading tip you off to the plague?

I mean, looking back it was definitely implied, I just didn’t read it as quite so macrocosmic. From the reading summary I did: 

I’m paying off debts and managing my money, looking forward to a lot of new learning, and…uh….getting good at surviving adversity. It’s really hammering home that whole “good at surviving adversity” thing. In a way that reads like “If you’re clever and emotionally intelligent you will totally get through the brutal shock that’s coming your way!”

Which I read as something that had already happened (last year’s management change and subsequent job change). and I definitely thought it was personal. 

But it could also mean something big and very unpleasant is coming sometime roundabout the middle of the year.

Got the date wrong, but I was only off by two months.

Or did I? We haven’t reached June yet. 

…I got through some really rough shit and I can again if necessary, and beyond the rough shit lies a lot of fulfillment. The other, more pithily, is “Be clever and break some stuff.”

There’s also a bunch of stuff about being emotionally vulnerable that I hope is less accurate because I am tired of having feelings. 

I do still have the chart, I could go back and try a reinterpretation, but I’m not sure I want more knowledge of the future at this point. 

So. Um. About June….
