Not sure anyone asked for this but    here’s another snippet from Maple Leaves.

“Um,” I continued, nervously looking around my room. 

Here’s the deal, my grandfather was actually a really light sleeper and if Sota just happened to walk by my room and hear Inuyasha we’d both be dead long before the next sunrise. In short, while I was ecstatic to see him, he couldn’t stay there with me. It was too risky and we were already treading on thin ice after our, erm… incident at our last sleepover. 

“Grab a jacket or something,” he whispered, already walking around me toward where my book bag was, pulling it off the ground. 

“What?” I asked in surprise. “A-are we going somewhere?” I stared at him with disbelief as he turned, amber eyes dancing with mischief. 

“Well we can’t stay here,” Inuyasha replied. “Come on, get your fucking coat on.”
