Happy Galentine’s Day! In our opinion, this is the purest of all made up holidays we observe on the internet, because it celebrates everything wonderful about female friendships. What better way to celebrate the incredible bonds between friends who feel more like family than with this story and illustration by Kyle Casey ChuandRita Saponur, submitted to Look Different and It’s On Us (@its-on-us) to help depict what being a good bystander looks like.

Everyone has a role to play in stopping sexual assault. Whether you do something drastic or simple, helping a friend or an absolute stranger can make a big difference.
