Can’t help but wonder if this Land of the Lost scene was inspired by Planet of the Apes (1968)

There is another strong connection to each when your get to Land of the Lost Season 3.  Ron Harper plays Uncle Jack in the LotL and  Alan Virdon in the  Planet of the Apes (TV series)
