I chose this image to showcase the use of lines to create a sense of speed. The first way lines create speed in this image is the use of dynamic diagonal lines, They lead our eyes quickly across the page. This is helped by the use of parallel line. The lines don’t intersect which helps keep our eyes in a straight line of sight. If the lines were not parallel, or intersected our eyes would slow down as we would have to process the directional changes, slowing down the image.
