Yuri on Ice getting hyped so I made this. there’s a rumor (or maybe official statement?) that Yuri Plisetsky’s (the boy) character is made based on Yulia Lipnitskaya (the girl). for those who don’t know, Yulia Lipnitskaya is a Russian, and the youngest gold medalist at the European Championships, from the single ladies category (she’s basically 18 this year. and win the gold medal at 15. Meanwhile I am doing my best not to munched my test paper at 15)
so basically it’s like drawing the same person, with different form. Yulia’s pose is based on Plisetsky’s from the opening on Yuri on Ice, and Plisetsky’s pose is based on Yulia’s photo. TBH I’m crazier over Victuri but, both of them inspire me more so I draw Yuri and Yulia instead of Victuri, for now.
