I kind of suck at tagging, so I made this infographic to help make it easier.

I know there are some new writers who follow me, so I wanted to reblog this. The two simplest things you can do to get people to read your fics are:

1. Write a decent summary. Let your readers know what the story is about. Imagine going to the library and not being able to read a blurb of the story? It’s the same think with fic. It doesn’t have to be long - 1 or 2 sentences that capture the theme and hopefully lure people in. 

2. Use tags. Think of tags as the keywords you would search for if you wanted to find the story. There are lots of options, so I tried to break it down as simply as possible.
