National Farmworker Awareness Week (NFAW) is a week of action for students and community members to raise awareness about farmworker issues on our campuses and in our communities.
UI’s College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) has made a display to raise awareness about farmworker conditions and to honor their important contributions.
In addition to the display, CAMP is holding a long-sleeve shirt, hat, and glove drive! These donated items will help farmworkers protect themselves from pesticides and heat stress. There is a box in the display to drop off items.
