After about a year of buying all of the parts piece by piece, I’ve finally got my Remington 1903A3 Springfield rifle done. With the exception of the stock, trigger group, and springs, everything is original WW2 era surplus. Most of the parts are in new unissued condition. I sanded the stock with 600 grit paper and finished it with seven coats of boiled linseed oil for a nice satin finish. I’m super happy with how this gun came out.
