While I watched all my friends take up football and baseball, I could never tell them how “open minded” mother took me to ballet classes, and not the boys kind!

Over time I would come to so worry, that I didn’t resist it like I used to. That worse than indifference, that I may actually come to like it….. my greatest of all fears, of becoming a fairy.

That greatest of all fears would undeniably come to fruition, when I would see all my friends develop an interest in girls, where I, to my horror, developed an interest in boys.
