The ballss only ended when dawn lit up the sky. The guests slowly left, leaving a mess that would be taken care of by the servants in a few hours. Rosemary and Cristobal always ended up exhausted waiting for the last guest to leave so they could take off their wigs and enjoy the tranquility of their home in the morning

They would run and play with each other as they prepared to go to sleep, as if they were two mythological creatures. Sometimes they fell asleep as soon as they undressed, but sometimes sleep was mixed with passion.
