The last few days have been a blur of education and exploration of both nursing and Boston. I have a ton of pictures to post but I wanted to post this one first. Last night at the Nurse’s Night Off I had the chance to meet up with Anna (@the.burnout.book), a nurse i have been following on insta now because of her work with the AACN and her focus on helping to prevent nurse burnout. I also had the pleasure of meeting her friend, Fiona (@abstrctevlbrbie). Nursing is truly amazing because you can meet other nurses from literally anywhere and have so much in common right off the bat. It allows you to step outside of your comfort zone and meet people that you might not ever meet otherwise. Combine that with the positive power of social media and the connections and friendships you can build are endless. I have met so many amazing nurses at NTI who are committed to advancing the care of their patients and being a stronger voice for nursing. There is so much that I will be taking back and incorporating in not only my work life but my daily personal life. (at Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center)
