I always kind of hoped to meet a model that could fill Bettie Page’s shoes and be the ultimate long term Muse for me; expressive, massively creative and simultaneously cute and wildly sensuous. It did come close a couple of times that lasted (much) longer than usual. However, life always got in the way of the arts at some point, and stopped it. But it did always inspire me a whole lot and what’s more, it pushed me to actually get better quicker too. It’s not about the hairdo at all, of course, that’s just a way to get that Bettie Page vibe in there. Bettie Page may only be a memory from even before my time, she left a vivid and exemplary image behind nonetheless. No snapchat or sillicone, no filters or fillers, no tattoos, just pure inspiration.
