After the merger with BTI, they had given Madison’s office to Jack. They had changed her title from ‘Chief Information Officer’ to ‘Undersecretary for Cock Services’. They had cut her pay and traded her reserved parking stall for a monthly bus pass. It was a definite demotion.

Of course, she did get to suck a LOT more dick now than she had before. So on the whole, it was probably worth it.
