3 illustrations I made for my application for Ang Ilustrador Ng Kabataan [Roughly translated to: The Illustrator of the Youth]!! SPOILER ALERT I GOT IN!!!!
We had to make illustrations based on the award-winning Filipino story: Tsinelas Ni Inoy (Inoy’s Slippers)
The stubborn protagonist keeps wearing his slippers backwards despite his parent’s telling him not to, and later stumbles into a world where everything is backwards.
Whew, this took forever, but it’s finally done! I was thinking of what to build for r/thesims Bi-Weekly Build Challenge this week, and decided I wanted a stained glass version of the windows (& a couple doors) from Strangerville.
Then, when I was showing my husband what I’d done so far, he mentioned how he liked that the shuttered windows have shutters that would actually work. He has a thing about shutters, he hates shutters that are only decoration and wouldn’t actually fit over the window if they could close, so I decided to dip my toes into the waters of mesh editing, and made a closed version for him. The closed version comes in all the stained glass swatches, plus a bonus plain window that matches the regular Strangerville set.
At the last minute, I also decided to make a roof gable decoration, a mesh edit of the dormer roof decoration from Strangerville.
So, this set contains a total of 8 windows,2 doors, and 3 gable decorations.
The windows & doors come in all the original swatches, with 3 different colors of stained glass, taken from the stained glass windows in Realm of Magic. Each stained glass color version is a separate file. If you’re using the pick’n’choose files, the ones marked “01″ are blue glass, “02″ are orange glass, and “03″ are purple glass. Each and every window and door has custom lighting, so the light glow that comes through them matches the color of the glass.
The roof gable decoration includes all original Strangerville swatches. It comes in 3 different versions: standard, steep, and shallow. They show up in both the ”Wall Sculptures” section in build mode, and the “Wall Decorations” section in buy mode. They require bb.moveobjects to be placed. Side note, in the preview pictures they have been sized up once using the bracket keys.

When@zeussim proposed the idea of a Regency/Jane Austen collaboration you knew I was going to join right? Well, it’s finally here! I was in charge of handling the menswear and I threw in a little something for toddlers. I think we did a great job with the mix of clothing and hairs and I really hope you folks enjoy it. this is something ive watched to make for a hot minute and im honestly really happy with how it came it, the skirts only come in plain swatches though ill likely come back and add plaid or striped skirts

The Moll’s Coat - a 1920′s inspired coat for your Betties
I’ve been a huge fan of @happylifesims a long time, so when i saw his lovely turtleneck coat i couldn’t resist to add furry cuffs and neck to it. Also, i wasn’t sure about the textures but i went simple and versatile MM style.
BG compatible - 10 Swatches (6 with white fur, 4 with brown fur)
Recolors are a MUST! if you do please don’t add the mesh and please tag me on it i would love to see your creations. If you find any detail just let me know and i will do my best to fix it ASAP.
PS: I’m sorry if i offend someone with the “Moll” term especially those who lives in Australia. “Moll” is a 1920′s American slang that means “Gangster Girlfriend”

I was going to wait to post these but I guess I have no self control. I also want to get all the TS4 sets done (as the process seems to go a little faster) for TS4 and then I’ll get the TS3 ones done, now that I have the meshes etc. (This is just how my brain works, I’m sorry to keep TS3 lovelies waiting!)

WHAT YOU GET #1: The Regency portraits have six portraits with four different frame swatches each–gold, silver, brown, black; that’s 24 swatches in total.

This is a normal 1830s hairstyle in that it’s anything but normal.
The loops are from Tekri’s Masquerade hair and I think the rest are EA meshes but I started out with so many pieces that I’m not 100% on which ones I used in the end.
@javitrulovesims did the recolouring for me because I’m hopeless at it so this wouldn’t have been possible without him. Also huge thanks to the Sims of History server for being so lovely.
TOU: Feel free to recolour or edit to your hearts content, just don’t make people pay for it.
i was lucky enough to commission the lovely SimulatedStyles to make an Elizabethan gown! he did excellent work, ultimately providing me with 101 unique swatches and three types of pattern! i absolutely loved working with him and would 100% do it again! if you’d love to pick up this dress, follow him @simulatedstyles for more information on when the dress will be released publicly!
Okay, so this BIG set includes: 20 different types of floors [ from 11 to 60 swatches for each ], 20 medallions, 20 line borders, 20 outer corner borders, 20 inner corner borders, 20 left end borders and 20 right end borders - each in 3 color schemes. Borders and medallions can be found in rugs category. I don’t want to count the sum of all items [ or the hours spent to create em ], but if you wanted some truly versatile parquet flooring as much as I did - I hope, you’ll enjoy this.
Specular and normal [ where it is needed ] maps, custom icons. The textures of different border elements are linked to reduce file sizes, so there MUST be a package with word “main” in your Mods folder for other border packages to work.

Polycount: from ~50 to ~1300. All LODs [ where they’re needed ], normal maps, custom icons. The set includes 2 types of usual bookshelves, 2 types of corner bookshelves and 1 corner column [ all for tall, medium and short walls - 15 items in total ], different stackable shelves with and without books [ 26 items, I forgot to make a picture of top type A shelf with books, sorry, but it looks exactly like the one without them ], a big desk, a library steps - and of course some books [ 20 usual ones to decorate the shelves and also 5 piles just in case ]. Shelves and bookshelves are compatible with each other - you just need to adapt to put the higher shelf on the appropriate place of the previous one [ it’s quite similar to how the curtains are hung to the windows in original game ] - so the whole set can be used in a variety of ways to create your perfect library of any height and configuration!
Textures are ALL linked, so I really wouldn’t advise you to remove any files of the set, and of course, package with word MAIN should remain in your Mods folder.
