The facts are real. Yes, we are in a very challenging health crisis. Yes, millions of people will be affected. Yes, scientists and medical professionals are scrambling to develop a vaccine. And, yes, we are undergoing unprecedented levels of physical distancing. Yet, in the midst of all of this, God is still on the throne which means The Truth remains. 2 Chronicles 7:14
If we aren’t careful, the news cycle will replace prayer with emotional exhaustion. Which is why we must guard our hearts with a diligence. If you want to stay up to date on COVID-19 developments, check out the World Health Organization website and the Centers for Disease Control. But, please, DO NOT allow your heart to be troubled by an industry that is designed to trouble it for ratings.
