Here is what I said:
I have a deep love of jewelry for many reasons, it carries meaning, memories, stories and in my case, people.
Almost every artist I purchase from, has a deeper meaning. When I purchase a piece of jewelry, I invest in the person as much as their work as they become part of my family.
But also I love antique jewelry because I like to think about the history that this piece has lived through, and how many people have being part of its story.
So the new work I commission I see as the beginning of a long life that will surpass me, and the antique jewelry, I’m part of the journey of that particular piece.

I’m beyond excited with this ring by @blackbarcjewelry , she joined forces with @ancients17 to create a small collection of Egyptian inspired pieces.
Loren cut a set of incredible opals that resemble scarabs and Mizuki created the most incredible ring with it!! This 24kt gold ring felt like it was dug out from an archeological site. This wonderful opal (to celebrate October’s birthstone) shines inside this stunning beetle.
